We are about to begin our second series of community meetings in February for the creation of a new land use plan and zoning code that will aim "strategic investments" by the City, promote, and guide new development consistent with the vision. Buffalo's "Green Code" will replace the zoning ordinance first passed in 1951. In November, we began a conversation about community values and the character of place in our city. At the meetings, citizens were asked to describe the qualities that make a great neighborhood and to identify specific locations in Buffalo that are "great places" and those that are "not so great" places. We would like to continue that conversation here and have new conversations with citizens as the process unfolds. Add your comment to the map and share your perspective with us. |
